Audition Registration
Student/Parent Info Meeting Monday, October 28th, 2024, 6:30 PM (PCHS Band Room)
There is a $30 Audition Fee payable online via the registration form below. Audition fees will only be payable online and are required to complete audition registration. All members are required to register before beginning the audition process and will not be permitted to participate in auditions until registration has been completed and the audition fee has been paid. Students and parents will receive links to the exercise packets in their audition registration confirmation email. Please do NOT share the packet with students that have not registered for auditions. Specific audition excerpts will be given to all students on the first day of auditions. Students are expected to attend all three audition dates and any absences should be communicated in advance with Mr. Kelly and Mr. Vanderwall.
Please wear loose-fitting athletic clothing and running/cross-training shoes to all clinic & audition events regardless of your desired instrument. Bring sticks, mallets, and water, and be prepared to participate in visual movement blocks even if your desired placement is with the front ensemble.
While students may have a certain “position” with their home school marching percussion section, we strongly encourage students to accept the position offered to them with 202IP even if it’s not their first choice. The amount of growth you’ll experience throughout the winter will prepare you for a future in that desired position! Remember – there are students auditioning from several schools!
